Thupaki Telugu Movie Review

story:

Vijay and AR Murugadoss’s Thuppaki Movie – Tamil super star vijay as Jagdish in thuppaki. He is a Captain in Indian Army. When a vacation he came to see his family in Mumbai. He is suddenly taken to Nisha's (Kajal's) house to approve, but he doesn't like her. He later falls in love with her after watching her in a boxing ring. After a series of romantic encounters. Jagdish runs behind the terrorist, who is then wounded, hospitalized and escapes. Jagadish planning and execution to walk off with the terrorist who is on his way to plant more bombs in different parts of Mumbai. More than guns and bullets we are treated to a mind game. Blank and without emotion Jagdish takes on the terrorist (Vidyut) and uses very few people to navigate and reach him. What happens next? Find in theatres...

Analysis:

Thuppaki is that he keeps the intelligent in the story going till the last and by the end of the operation in the sea, one wishes the drama continued. Other than that Thuppaki makes for a thrilling drama with the pace in the first part of the film very slow and irritating, the story not moving at all. It is just before the interval it picks momentum and keeps you hooked. The final scene at the station is again a bore. What mainly works for the film is the villain who underplays his role so well. Never loud, bombastic or too emotional, he goes by the flow. The director lets the story take over in the second half. In more than one dialogue he pays tribute to the army and reminds citizens that while they enjoy life, the army spends all their life safeguarding them and the country. Strangely he is a one man army who doesn't seek help while plotting and executing. Mainly, songs come all of sudden in the movie that make people confused. However, songs were okay to listen. Apart from that everything was good about the movie.

Performances:

Vijay was entertaining good. Kajal had no role to play other than showing her skin. So, in terms of glamour’s she was okay. Vidyut, Sathyan and all others have done justice to their roles

Technalities:

The direction of Murgadoss was the main asset of this film. Sangeet Shivan's cinematography was outstanding. Harris Jayaraj's music doesn't impress and editing is far from desirable.

Final Word: Go and Watch if you are fan to Action movies.
